Responsibility
ensure that all care plans are abreast and that any remedial actions are taken timely
to ensure confidentiality of information in line with the Data Protection Act
responsibility to ensure that all mandatory training is undertaken and kept up-to-date
to support the team to implement care plans, and devise behaviour management plans, risk assessments and health plans with support, ensuring children are cared for consistently
you may work unsocial hours and shifts on a rota including some weekends and bank holidays
tending to daily physical and emotional needs of the children in accord with Racial, Cultural, Religious, linguistic, and dietary requirements to foster wholesomeness, leisure, and education of children and young people
to adhere to all the requirements in relation to the Safe Handling of Medication and abide by the Departmental Policy; ensure timely and adequate administration of prescribed medicine
to record information from observations
Requirements
level 3 Diploma in Children’s Health and Social Care
NVQ 3 Caring for children and young people
NVQ 3 promoting Independence
BA in Social Work
NVQ level 4 Health and Social Care. CSS, Degree in Youth and
community Work
