Responsibility

  • the placing of Purchase Orders via online portals, websites and emails direct to suppliers
  • ensuring through negotiations that the best possible terms and price are achieved with suppliers
  • internal and external purchasing progress monitoring and chasing
  • assisting with new business activities including pricing, quoting & estimating
  • flowing customer, quality, and legislative requirements to suppliers
  • new supplier research, suggestion, down-selection, and on-boarding
  • perform other duties and special projects as assigned
  • where possible try to take advantage of international price agreements negotiated by our Parent Company
