Responsibility
- create and maintain the real time Change requests dashboard and reporting
- lead as the technical expert on pressurised vessel, hydraulics & Electro-Mechanical system design & develop competence in Opto-Mechanical System Design
- lead System Validation Testing and standardisation following international standards
- role title: Product Development Engineer - Continuous Improvement
- reports to: Existing Products Program Manager
- SAFETY FIRST - ensure that you and your team members are not injured at work and report any hazard promptly following the company guidelines
- direct reports: None
- ensure existing products designs are kept updated based on change requests and in sync with the latest quality & customer insights, Specifications & Regulatory requirements
Requirements
- minimum bachelor’s degree in Optic Mechanical engineering / other appropriate degree
- expert knowledge in Solidworks, FEM/FEA & other applicable CAD software’s
- expert knowledge of BS8888, BS8624 & other applicable standard
- experience in Pressure vessels &/or hydraulics system design and testing
- lean/Kaizen training or hands on experience desired
- consumer/Customer & safety-first mindset and approach
- demonstrable on-going career professional development and progression
- developing Test procedure, testing & report writing
