- speakeasy Therapy is a well established independent therapy team with contracts with independent schools, mainstream schools, families and Local Authorities across the East Midlands
- we are looking for 2 x enthusiastic Speech and Language Therapists who would like to join a team of 30 staff members consisting of both Speech and Language Therapists, Occupational Therapists and Psychotherapists to fulfil the growing need for Speech and Language Therapy in the Nottinghamshire/ Derbyshire area
- we are looking for an enthusiastic Specialist Speech and Language Therapist who would like to join a team of 30 staff members consisting of both Speech and Language Therapists and Occupational Therapists
- to apply knowledge of specialist therapeutic approaches used with the students e.g
- the role can be flexible and adjusted in line with your level of experience with part time / full time working options available and will based around your geographical location
- high levels of supervision and training are established within the team
- there will also be the opportunity to be involved in supporting adults and children who are on the assessment pathway for Autism Spectrum Disorder and joining a number of the team who are ADOS trained
- we also have well established mentoring programmes for newly qualified therapists, making this post also suitable for newly qualified therapists
- there will also be the opportunity to be involved in supporting adults and children on the Autism Spectrum Assessment pathway in joining a number of the team who are ADOS trained
- working closely with schools and families you will get the chance to work with a small caseload providing a large amount of intervention and build strong therapeutic relationships
- we have high levels of external training opportunities as well as unlimited opportunities for MDT working with our team of OTs
- lead on the assessment of, and advising on, AAC including symbols, signing and other visual/electronic methods of communication

- working independently we get to offer high levels of intervention and lead on our timetables to ensure that we give the best quality service based on the children's needs
- salary and banding is dependent on experience and in line with AFC. Full employment, pay and conditions provided
- you will have the chance to work alongside the rest of the team in the Speakeasy office as well as working autonomously in schools, homes and some online home working
- high levels of supervision and training are established within the team, high levels of external training opportunities as well as MDT working with our team of OTs
- all applicants must hold a degree in Speech and Language Therapy and be registered with HCPC and RCSLT. A driving license / ability to drive between sites and sessions is desirable
