Responsibility
- represent the business with our major customers, perform gap analysis and recommend changes to ensure they are met
- responsible for the development, implementation and monitoring of the Quality System
- design, recommend and implement improvements to the company's quality procedures, standards and specifications
- quality - Ensure that the products and services provided are fit for purpose, consistent, meet our customers’ requirements and are legally compliant. Apply best practice and processes across our businesses
- move the culture of the business from content with compliance to aspirational to be world class in the areas of quality, health and safety and the environment
- be on the lookout for opportunities for improvement and develop new efficient procedures
- monitor and report on performance by gathering relevant data and producing statistical reports
- work with purchasing staff to establish quality requirements from external suppliers
Requirements
- degree/HNC in quality, engineering, logistics or related field
- requires understanding of how changes in technical or professional principles and/or standards may necessitate changes to policies, procedures, and processes
- contacts are made with all levels within the organization
- 3 years of work progressive experience performing professional level quality management duties; preferably in manufacturing ,repair or logistics industry
- proficiency in working with operations managers, staff, and corporate executives
- extensive contact is made with the customer on a daily basis
- contacts are made with suppliers
- education, training and/or work experience in area of repair of Technical components may be required
