Responsibility

  • to provide a high quality service to patients, doctors and other members of the Primary Health Care Team
  • to contribute to the maintenance of patient confidentiality at all times, inside and outside the Practice
  • to contribute to the smooth running of the reception / admin function in order to provide a first class service to patients and visitors

Requirements

  • ability to welcome patients and advise them on the service most suitable for them
  • ability and experience of using a range of IT based systems
  • ability to be organised and book appointments
  • manage prescriptions according to practice procedures and ensure timely distribution of completed prescriptions
  • promptly respond and take action on computerised tasks, notifications and messages from clinicians and other Practice staff
