Responsibility
- carrying out repairs to buildings and grounds within the post holder’s capabilities
- monitoring the heating system
- to check the maintenance log and to attend to any faults listed and replace light bulbs
- assist in the movement of equipment and furniture in the home as maybe deemed necessary
- undertake redecoration and touching up paintwork as necessary
- clear minor blockages to waste pipes and guttering
- grit the footpaths when icy and sweep up wet leaves from footpaths
- report any defects that require outside contractors to attend the site to the Home Manager
