Responsibility

  • these services provide primary care support to patients in South-East Hampshire, from 8am to 10.30pm, 365 days a year
  • the Shift Manager is the go-to person while the shift is running
  • the role of Shift Manager Working at our clinical hub located in Waterlooville, we are in search of a sixth Shift Manager to help manage the smooth running of the shifts for SHPCAs clinical services, in particular the Clinical Assessment Service and our Extended Access Service
  • this role provides effective operational guidance during the shift, ensuring that the workflow of patient consultations is spread effectively across the clinical teams working
  • the Shift Manager is the central point of contact for our partner organisations and management team and plays a key role in the effective communication needed to make these fast-paced services run smoothly
  • the Shift Manager works closely with the satellite hubs and locations providing clinical services, to balance the workflow across all sites during each shift
  • to ensure that the clinical and operations team are well supported and set up and that any concerns that cant be addressed by the Shift Manager are escalated to the senior on-call manager as soon as practicable
