Responsibility
- provide line management, screening, mentoring and support to volunteers, students and self-employed counsellors including recruitment, induction and reviews
- undertake assessments and allocation of clients to counsellors
- maintain and manage counselling waiting list and client record systems
- manage own small caseload of complex clients
- develop and facilitate group counselling & wellbeing programme
- to coordinate and lead a safe, professional and accessible Counselling & Wellbeing Service including face to face, telephone, online service and group services
- liaise with local training providers regarding trainee counselling placements
- undertake appropriate monitoring, case recording, surveys and feedback activities, that shape & supports Southend Carers project and service delivery
