Responsibility
- west Street Support Living Scheme are looking for a Shift Leader to join their friendly team based in Southend on Sea
- to ensure all operational policies, procedures and protocols within the service are adhered to by Support Workers
- to ensure customer Health Action Plans are up to date and follow up actions and appointments completed
- to support customers with managing their finances including the safe handling of money in line with Southend Care policies and procedures
- to ensure customers are supported to have informed choices relating to a healthier lifestyle
- to ensure all Support Workers follow the Southend Care Medication Policy and to alert the Assistant manager of any issues that may arise in administering medication
- to ensure customers are encouraged and supported to access and engage with their local community
- to ensure Support Worker contact time with customers is maximised and support tasks are allocated in a way that meets the requirements of each persons’ support plan
