Responsibility
- plan and organize engaging activities for residents in a care facility
- coordinate and schedule events, outings, and recreational programs
- collaborate with staff to ensure activities meet the physical, emotional, and social needs of residents
- provide assistance and support to residents during activities
- maintain activity supplies and equipment
- document and report on resident participation and feedback
Requirements
- previous experience in activity coordination or a related field is preferred
- knowledge of therapeutic recreation principles and techniques is a plus
- excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- ability to work effectively with individuals of varying abilities and backgrounds
- strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- compassionate and patient demeanor
