Responsibility

  • we are seeking a motivated, positive individual to join the team at South Yorkshire Orthopaedic Services Limited
  • the ideal candidate will have previous medical secretary or secretarial support experience
  • you will also act as a point of liaison between patients, GPs, other staff and outside agencies
  • full training will be given on our patient management system, procedures and policies
  • prioritise and manage a busy workload in order to provide a comprehensive and efficient medical secretarial service to the consultant surgeons
  • the various aspects of the role will be appropriately phased in as skills and knowledge develop
  • work as part of a team, recognising the ability of others, to ensure the efficient running of the company
  • accurate data input onto patient management system

Requirements

  • essential criteria
  • educated to GCSE grade C or above in literacy and numeracy
  • minimum 1 years experience in a hospital or office environment
