Responsibility

  • to provide professional guidance and direction to the care assistant team
  • to act as a role model and patient advocate, ensuring a positive experience for all
  • to undertake all the duties in the Rehabilitation Assistant job description to a high standard
  • the desire to learn and the ability to inspire your team are therefore essential
  • to take on the management of the routines of care delivery when on shift, allocating care staff to sections, prioritising care, and overseeing care staff breaks effectively when required
  • to ensure a high standard of care is consistently delivered to patients in a safe and caring person-centred approach in line with Renovo values

Requirements

  • NVQ Level 3 in Health and Social care and/or Care certificate
  • A stable work history, with at least 3 years’ experience in a health or social care setting
  • strives to reach the highest standards in customer service care and support
  • able to be a positive role model and promote the development of service excellence
  • experience in a rehab approach to care
  • experience of team leadership and the ability of working collaboratively within a multi-disciplinary team
  • experience of training, supporting and mentoring others
  • knowledge of evidence-based practice, best practice guidelines, assessment tools and outcome measures
