Responsibility
- forecasting customer demand
- processing orders
- liaising with suppliers to ensure timely deliveries of Vehicle parts

- lead the creation/development of Standard Operating Procedures
- complete supply chain documentation for audit requirements
- resolving problems including customer service issues
- identify, manage and escalate risks to the business
- ensure Customer orders are taken and supplied to the correct specification
- carrying out weekly stock checks at Customer premises
- proactive customer sales and feedback competitor information to Parts Supervisor
- documenting and reporting the condition of parts received notifying any relevant party of damage or concerns
- ensuring that all parts and old units returned are labelled and packed properly and all relevant paperwork correctly completed
- ensuring that all goods received are checked and binned accurately
- to be the first line contact for customers. To identify service parts requirements and assist in preparing the necessary depot actions to meet those customer requirements
- to carry out the Service Department’s invoicing and administration systems efficiently
- ensure that parts required for customers are picked and allocated to the correct delivery route

- if you have had exposure of any of the following skills, then this would be advantageous but not essential
- familiarisation of vehicle parts
- to keep up to date with product development by reading relevant information and technical note issued
- to greet customers in a courteous manner, interpret their requirements and complete the necessary paperwork to enable work to be undertaken
- strong IT skills and the ability to quickly pick up new systems
- good communication skills, both written and oral
- to effectively monitor the Work In Progress reports to clear Workshop instructions as soon as possible
- good team player with ability to work on own initiative
- excellent IT knowledge, although training will be given on in-house systems
- to liaise with the Workshop Supervisor to maximise Workshop loading to ensure efficiency and profitability
- well organised and able to work under pressure and meet deadlines
- there are some essential components needed for this job – strong customer orientation with the ability to work in an organised & methodical manner in a fast moving environment

- valid UK driving licence
- to ensure all customer complaints are courteously and efficiently handled and processed
- experience of working with vehicle parts or sales experience would be advantageous
- previous experience in a similar role is ideal but not essential as training and support will be provided. However, strong IT skills will be required
- to assist in the management and arrangement of customer vehicle workshop bookings for inspections, servicing and repairs
