Responsibility
- we are seeking a skilled and enthusiastic barista to join the Sorelle team
- this role will include creating and serving quality coffee, as well as helping out with general cafe duties
- preparing and serving a range of high-quality hot and cold drinks
- greeting customers, taking orders accurately, and providing detailed information about our menu
- occasionally assisting in the kitchen with food preparation
- managing orders and communicating with the kitchen team effectively
- confidently navigating the POS system and handling cash as well as card payments
- we are a small family -run cafe who pride ourselves on friendly customer service, so you will play a vital role in creating a welcoming atmosphere for our customers

Requirements
- previous barista and customer service experience is essential
- demonstrated proficiency in making various coffees and other hot drinks
- strong interpersonal skills and sense of initiative
- ability to work in a fast-paced environment and work well under pressure
- attention to detail and commitment to maintaining cleanliness and hygiene
- basic maths skills for accurate order processing and cash handling
- flexibility to work shifts, including weekends and holidays
- food handling certification is a plus
