  • veterinary experience: 1 year

Responsibility

  • ensure continual maintenance of laboratory equipment. Running internal laboratory tests and posting external laboratory samples
  • support management in ensuring the nursing team are aware of their roles and responsibilities, and that they have the tools and support required to complete these on a daily basis
  • ensure appropriate stock levels of all necessary medication and maintain clinical and surgical equipment following correct process
  • adhere to and promote all practice policies, procedures, and guidelines that apply to all associates and effectively support any performance issues
  • maintain accurate medical records and documentation for each patient
  • promptly complete all required in-house training, and actively encourage the nursing team to promptly complete any required in-house training
  • administer medications, vaccinations, and treatments as prescribed by the veterinarian

receptionist

Requirements

  • veterinary Receptionist: 1 year
  • customer Service: 1 year

Responsibility

  • address any Health and Safety issues noticed or reported as a matter of urgency
  • ensure the maintenance and care of equipment is adhered to a high standard, and report any breakdowns or faults immediately
  • be responsive to communications from other team members. Check e-mails and messages at least daily and respond/action as required
  • complete required GDPR training, and ensure all administration tasks are compliant with GDPR policy
  • risk Assessments; these should be read and updated annually. Any additional risk should be noted and added to the risk assessment file
  • report all accidents or incidents promptly, ensuring the correct process has been followed
  • maintenance: General cleaning, in particular the waiting room and reception area
  • medication: As advised by the Vets, preparing and dispensing prescriptions, providing clear handover instructions to clients, reordering medications and keeping an accurate stock take
