Responsibility
- ensure continual maintenance of laboratory equipment. Running internal laboratory tests and posting external laboratory samples
- support management in ensuring the nursing team are aware of their roles and responsibilities, and that they have the tools and support required to complete these on a daily basis
- ensure appropriate stock levels of all necessary medication and maintain clinical and surgical equipment following correct process
- adhere to and promote all practice policies, procedures, and guidelines that apply to all associates and effectively support any performance issues
- maintain accurate medical records and documentation for each patient
- promptly complete all required in-house training, and actively encourage the nursing team to promptly complete any required in-house training
- administer medications, vaccinations, and treatments as prescribed by the veterinarian
