previous experience in the industry advantageous but not essential as training will be given
you will get to work on all kinds of makes and models of cars
your role will include repairing, replacing and fitting tyres
checking tyre tread depths, conditions of tyres and adjusting tyre pressures
wheel balancing, tracking and alignment, fitting bulbs and wiper blades
helping customers choose products that meet their requirements
this role requires manual dexterity, physical strength and stamina
applicant must have good communication skills, a desire to learn and a can do / customer first approach

somerset Tyres and Servicing are currently seeking a full time vehicle technician to join our family run business
the ideal candidate would need to have a minimum of 3 years or more experience in a workshop and be able to carry out all types of repairs to vehicles up to 3.5 tonne
Requirements
undertake all levels of vehicle repairs, diagnostics, servicing, welding and much more
be qualified level 2/3 in light vehicle mechanics or equivalent time serviced experience
have a proven track record of quality workmanship and good diagnostic skills
