Requirements
- NVQ Level 5 in Leadership and Management for Residential Childcare is desirable
- previous experience as a Service Manager or a similar role in a supported living environment
- comprehensive knowledge of Ofsted requirements and relevant legislation
- proven experience of successful service management, including the production and management of statutory documentation
- excellent leadership skills and the ability to inspire and motivate a remote team
- excellent organisational and time management skills
- excellent written and oral communication skills
- full, clean UK driving license and access to a vehicle for travel between locations
Responsibility
- maintain and enhance the quality of our services, ensuring all aspects of the service meet with Ofsted and statutory requirements
- this includes overseeing all statutory documentation, maintaining quality and standards, and ensuring that we remain compliant with all Ofsted regulations
- prepare and present reports, records, and other documentation required by regulatory bodies
- maintain regular contact with the providers, and associated professionals to ensure quality support and care
- conduct regular visits to our lodgings in Kent and Reading, ensuring the standards of accommodation and support meet our requirements
- being present for statutory reviews with the young people, hosts and local authorities
- work collaboratively with team members to develop policies, procedures, and systems that promote high-quality service delivery
