Requirements

  • A good technical aptitude is essential and a technical/construction qualification would be preferable, but not essential
  • previous experience within the construction industry would be an advantage
  • we are looking for a confident individual to join our team
  • A proactive, organised and problem solving approach is often required
  • good communication skills are essential as there will be direct contact with a range of different site personnel
  • the ideal person needs to be practically minded, with solid organisational skills, methodical and willing to work hard as part of a professional team

Responsibility

  • advise customers on their requirements for supply only orders
  • maintain electronic and manual filing systems for all project records
  • attendance at ad hoc meetings on site and/or external offices as required
  • preparing scheme designs and submitting quotations
  • deal with follow up queries ahead of customer order
  • receiving enquiries, reviewing drawings, fire strategies, specifications and tender documents
