we are looking to add a Procurement Manager to our growing procurement/stock management team to support the expanding business
candidates do not need to be from a manufacturing industry background, all industries will be considered
smithBrewer Ltd is a retail interior design and manufacturing company providing shop fixtures and displays to some of the UK’s largest retailers
the procurement manager will also be responsible for analysing costs issued by suppliers for items previously purchased and new items
this position would suit those with experience of working within procurement departments and have experience managing stock levels and liaising with suppliers
there is great scope for innovation in this role, where a level of automation can be brought in to improve processes
the key responsibility of this role will be the management of the business’s stock levels using reporting functions within our ERP system and analysis of the business’s ongoing and upcoming requirements as dictated by current sales order and future program of works as well as the placing and management of orders
