- based at Smeaton & Holmes office at Dalton in Furness
- work as apprentice accountant to a small team to help on a variety of accounting tasks
- it is expected that the successful candidate will be able to produce small accounts after six months
- office hours are 9.00am till 5.00pm Monday to Thursday with half an hour for lunch
- we are offering support to the successful candidate in studying for their AAT starting at Level 2
- starting salary is £TBA and there is a six month probationary period
- annual leave is 28 days including statutory holidays
- these tasks will include completion of VAT returns, payroll, inputting bank statement data and other data into the computer systems. Dealing with clients queries on the telephone, by e-mail and in person. Other ad hoc jobs as required
