Responsibility

  • we are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Geotechnical Engineer with a strong background in design to join our team
  • you will provide innovative solutions, ensure the successful delivery of projects, and contribute to the growth and success of our company
  • conduct comprehensive geotechnical investigations, site assessments, and risk assessments specific to rail and infrastructure projects to inform design recommendations
  • perform geotechnical analyses and calculations, including foundation design, slope stability analysis, retaining structure design, and ground improvement techniques
  • utilize industry-standard software and design tools to develop geotechnical models, produce design drawings, and generate technical reports
  • collaborate closely with internal teams, clients, and external stakeholders to understand project requirements and ensure alignment with design goals
  • as a Senior Geotechnical Engineer, you will play a pivotal role in leading and overseeing geotechnical design projects in the rail sector as well as supporting general infrastructure projects
  • provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior engineers and team members, fostering professional growth and knowledge sharing

Requirements

  • bachelor's degree in Geotechnical Engineering or a related field; a master's degree is preferred
  • extensive experience in geotechnical engineering, with a focus on design, within the rail sector and general infrastructure projects
  • strong proficiency in geotechnical design software and analysis tools relevant to the rail and infrastructure sectors
  • in-depth knowledge of geotechnical investigation methods, soil mechanics, foundation engineering, slope stability analysis, and ground improvement techniques
  • proven track record of successful completion of geotechnical design projects in the rail sector and general infrastructure
  • excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with a keen attention to detail
  • effective communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with multidisciplinary teams and present technical concepts to clients and stakeholders
  • strong project management and leadership abilities, with experience in leading and mentoring junior engineers
