- perform welding and fitting tasks using stick welding techniques
- conduct mechanical maintenance and repairs on equipment as required
- collaborate with the maintenance team to ensure operational efficiency
- adhere to safety guidelines and protocols at all times
- maintain a clean and organized work area
- additionally, weekends are always paid at 150% of the regular hourly rate, irrespective of the hours worked during the week
Requirements
- proven experience in stick welding techniques
- proficiency in mechanical maintenance and repair work
- excellent communication skills to collaborate effectively within the team
- strong attention to detail and a commitment to producing high-quality work
- ability to work independently and within a team environment
- flexibility to work on Saturdays, if required
- relevant certifications or qualifications in welding/fabrication are a plus
- stick welding: 1 year
