hours of work are Monday to Thursday 9am – 5pm and Friday 9am – 4pm
we are looking to recruit an experienced full-time office-based Administrator for a busy building contractors based in Sunderland that predominantly deals with insurance repair claims
the usual benefits associated with a permanent position would apply which would be discussed at interview
ideally the successful candidate would have experience within the insurance repair or general construction industry, but such experience is not essential as full support and role specific training will be given
the offered Salary would be competitive but also subject to the experience of the successful candidate
the role itself will generally involve liaising with Insurance Companies, their managing Agents, Policy holders, and our partnering Suppliers and Subcontractors throughout the duration of the claim, keeping reporting systems up to date and assisting in bringing all claims to financial close
the successful person will be working closely with all members of our small delivery team that includes both of our working directors
this role offers and requires more than many usual administrative positions as the successful candidates will become part of an active and busy delivery team and will therefore be expected to manage their own workload with little supervision often using their own initiative
