- level 3 inspection and testing
- full driving license
- HV Operational safety
- first Aid
- possess good written and verbal communication skills
- time served apprenticeship or equivalent
Responsibility
- off load, position and build up LV switchgear, HV switchgear and distribution equipment
- installation of cable ladder rack, tray work and other containment systems
- assist HV cable jointers with cable testing, phasing on cables up to 33kV
- installation of earthing systems
- we are one of the UK’s leading suppliers of high voltage power distribution equipment, who, due to the retirement of a valued and long serving staff member, are recruiting for a time served HV authorised Industrial Electrician to join our installation and contracting team based in Sheffield
- ensure work is carried out to the highest standard and in the interest of the company
- installation of large cables LV and HV. This may include pulling in as a cable gang by hand or use of a winch
- produce site reports/test results in a timely manner
