- design of multi-function silicon based RFICs with power amplifier, LNA, switch and filter content in the 2-9 GHz frequency band for wireless applications
Requirements
- RF Design/simulation expertise with Cadence and/or Keysight ADS
- strong knowledge of RF circuit architectures and design tradeoffs in PA’s, LNA’s, and RF switches
- experience of IC design in SOI or SiGe IC strongly desirable, though GaAs experience considered
- experience with device bias design techniques and fundamentals of analogue circuit design
- working knowledge of IC layout techniques/considerations in a Cadence Virtuoso environment
- bachelor's or other advanced degree with minimum 8 years of experience in IC design, or MSc plus 6 years minimum, or PhD plus 3 years minimum
- history of delivering production products and familiarity with key stages/gates in the product development process
- strong knowledge of ESD protection techniques
