Requirements

  • electrical & Engineer 18th Edition Compliant
  • ability to follow Health and Safety policies & procedures
  • IPAF licence
  • hold Electrical Testing 2391 or equivalent
  • ability to work shift pattern and cover weekend work as required
  • forklift licence
  • ability to read drawings
  • full clean driving licence

Responsibility

  • the individual will also need to show a commitment to quality and safety
  • the successful applicant will need to be local to the business and have the ability to work on a shift pattern
  • the business is currently looking to hire an experienced Electrician/Maintenance Engineer to efficiently maintain & repair electrical and plant equipment, carry out installation tasks as required & undertake diagnostic and fault-finding procedures
  • the ideal candidate should have high level problem solving skills, extensive experience working with industrial electrical systems and plant machinery, and good communication skills
  • they will be able to conduct routine maintenance and general upkeep of plant equipment, be physically strong & fit, and able to stand for long periods of time
  • they will be resourceful, driven with a can do attitude & have the ability to manage conflicting priorities and variations to workload
