Responsibility
work to pre-determined targets as set by the Sales Director. Maximise all opportunities to achieve target and close sales
work in conjunction with the field sales team
continually build and validate a database of contacts via cold calling & data collection using a CRM system
manage inbound customer sales inquiries and provide pricing details, product information and opening order details promoting the company’s product ranges
process sales orders where required and arrange the dispatch and administration of products
source new sales opportunities and optimise up-sell potential. Follow up internal and external leads
maintain and develop a database of existing customers across territories
submit opening order proposals via email
Requirements
as an experienced Internal Sales advisor you will have excellent verbal and written communications skills, and can demonstrate strong listening skill
you must have a strong phone presence as you will be making numerous calls per day
the ability to multi-task & prioritise along with exceptional time management is crucial
you will be equally proficient working within a team structure as well as on your own initiative
you will have proven internal sales experience in managing and developing a customer database to deliver commercial success, with at least 1 years’ experience, as well as a proven track record of over-achieving targets
