internal sales

Working hours

  • full-time | Contract

Responsibility

  • work to pre-determined targets as set by the Sales Director. Maximise all opportunities to achieve target and close sales
  • work in conjunction with the field sales team
  • continually build and validate a database of contacts via cold calling & data collection using a CRM system
  • manage inbound customer sales inquiries and provide pricing details, product information and opening order details promoting the company’s product ranges
  • process sales orders where required and arrange the dispatch and administration of products
  • source new sales opportunities and optimise up-sell potential. Follow up internal and external leads
  • maintain and develop a database of existing customers across territories
  • submit opening order proposals via email

Requirements

  • as an experienced Internal Sales advisor you will have excellent verbal and written communications skills, and can demonstrate strong listening skill
  • you must have a strong phone presence as you will be making numerous calls per day
  • the ability to multi-task & prioritise along with exceptional time management is crucial
  • you will be equally proficient working within a team structure as well as on your own initiative
  • you will have proven internal sales experience in managing and developing a customer database to deliver commercial success, with at least 1 years’ experience, as well as a proven track record of over-achieving targets
