Responsibility
- operate TIG welding equipment to fabricate and assemble metal components according to specifications

- interpret technical drawings and blueprints to ensure accurate fabrication of components
- conduct quality checks on finished products to ensure compliance with industry standards
- maintain a clean and safe work environment, adhering to all safety protocols
- collaborate with team members to optimise production processes and improve efficiency
- troubleshoot any issues that arise during the welding process, ensuring minimal downtime
Requirements
- proven experience in welding, particularly with TIG techniques; experience with stick welding is advantageous
- mig welding experience would be helpful
- strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to operate various power tools and hand tools safely
- basic mathematical skills for measuring and calculating dimensions accurately
- experience working with sheet metal is preferred; familiarity with fabrication processes is a plus
- A keen eye for detail and a commitment to producing high-quality work consistently
