- this is an excellent opportunity to join an incredibly talented team of joiners
- SJC Joinery are a small bespoke joinery manufacturer specialising in made-to-measure windows, doors and staircases, situated near Thame on the Oxfordshire / Buckinghamshire border, and we are looking to take on an experienced Bench Joiner
- the successful candidate will need to be a time served Bench Joiner, capable of reading complex drawings and marking out, as well as maintaining and using all the usual machinery you would expect to find in a traditional joinery workshop
Requirements
- 2 years minimum experience as a Bench Joiner
- practical, with good common sense, spatial awareness and an eye for detail
- NVQ in bench joinery or equivalent
- the ability to work as part of a team, and also unsupervised
- experience in modern woodworking machinery and hand tools
- have an organised approach and work safely in a busy environment
- experience in reading drawings, templates & written instructions
- adhere to company health and safety policies
