Responsibility

  • singleton Birch Limited are a North Lincolnshire based lime supplier
  • we run 4 Maerz Kilns in a 24/7 operation producing Calcium Oxide to both internal and external processes and customers
  • support the evolution and implementation of the site EC&I roadmap to deliver the EH&S & operational KPI’s
  • you will oversee all instrumentation systems and be responsible for the safe operation of these systems for the company
  • ensure all Electrical statutory legal obligations for site are met and upkeep of the site electrical infrastructure is maintained
  • support with the creation and management of risk assessments, method statements & safe systems of work
  • the company in recent years have focused on diversification for the benefits of the company and its customers, with a vision to become a more diverse company going forward to secure the proud status of Singleton Birch Limited
  • ensure that all works are carried out to a high standard as expected across the site

Requirements

  • HNC/D in Instrument / Electrical Engineering
  • excellent understanding of current Electrical Engineering regulations & guidance
  • HV Appointed Person
  • 18th Edition qualified
  • NEBOSH certificate
  • experience with PLCs, drives and instrumentation systems
  • supervisory experience dealing with the control and management of personnel in a maintenance environment including contract labour
  • compEx Trained
