- experience with structured development methodologies, bug tracking systems, and MVC frameworks
- extensive knowledge of computer software languages, platforms, and current methodologies
- bachelor's Degree from four-year college or university, or five years of related experience and/or training, or equivalent combination of education and experience
Responsibility
- the vast majority of coding is in support of inward facing software for use by our company
- SCOPE/GENERAL PURPOSE OF JOB: This position's responsibilities will be split between maintaining legacy code, maintaining and enhancing current projects, and design and development of future projects
Requirements
- PHP and MySQL for core software
- familiarity with Laravel Framework is a plus. Future projects are trending in this direction
- HTML, CSS and Javascript for web-based output. Familiarity with Twig is a bonus
- familiarity with Vue JS, Tailwind CSS is also a plus, as well as Docker
- the ability to work both independently and in collaboration with others
- familiarity with GIT
- good communication skills, both with other software members and the company as a whole
- the desire and ability to improve one's coding skills and learn new things
