  • liaising with our design team to ensure the creation of a website
  • turning designs into fully functional responsive websites using WordPress
  • managing your own time to ensure tasks/projects are delivered in a timely manner
  • maintaining existing websites by keeping plugins/themes/WordPress core up to date
  • communicating effectively with project managers and other members of the team to ensure everyone is up to date on progress
  • liaising with clients where necessary to understand technical requirements & solve issues
  • maintaining an awareness of current web technologies, trends and extending your capabilities
  • simplicity is a creative marketing agency, providing bespoke websites, graphic design, digital marketing and photography and video services. We’re seeking a web developer to join our growing team

Requirements

  • preferred 1-2 years
  • wordPress – You should be familiar and comfortable using the WordPress admin dashboard and have a good understanding of how themes and plugins are used to construct a WordPress site
  • strong written and verbal communication skills
  • an understanding of basic SEO principles and best practices
