Responsibility
- apply plaster to walls, ceilings, and other surfaces
- prepare surfaces for plastering by cleaning and smoothing them
- mix plaster ingredients to desired consistency
- apply coats of plaster to achieve desired thickness and texture
- use hand tools such as trowels and brushes to smooth and finish surfaces
- repair cracks, holes, and other imperfections in existing plaster
- install metal corner beads and protective coverings as needed
- follow safety guidelines and maintain a clean work area
Requirements
- proven experience as a Plasterer or similar role
- knowledge of different types of plaster and their applications
- familiarity with masonry, carpentry, and welding techniques
- proficiency in using power tools and hand tools relevant to the trade
- ability to read blueprints and follow instructions accurately
- strong attention to detail and precision in workmanship
- physical stamina and ability to work in various weather conditions
- excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work independently
