Responsibility

  • highfield is recruiting a Senior Carer. Highfield is run by Silverleaf Care Homes Ltd and specialises in care for the elderly
  • lead the shift
  • administer medication
  • ensure the residents daily needs are being met
  • ensure that the procedures of the home are followed
  • liaise with residents families as well as all visitors to the home

Requirements

  • at least 2 years experience as a Senior Carer
  • NVQ Level 3 or working towards
  • understanding of CQC standards
  • must be an effective communicator
  • knowledge of electronic care systems as well as EMARS
  • supervisory: 1 year
  • senior Care Assistant: 2 years
