Responsibility
- first point of contact for all incidents/requests via email and phone calls, escalating issues when appropriate
- you will provide expert technical assistance and support to our technical team and other areas of the business as needed
- provide efficient and professional customer support at all times

- provide technical services and support for WAN and LAN connectivity, MPLS, routers, firewalls, information security, VPN & Terminal Services
- perform and maintain daily system checks
- participate in monitoring and management of system alerts and notifications
- updating IT records and documentation to ISO Standards
- perform network assessments and security audits
- site Visits where appropriate
- installation/Maintenance/Configuration of a variety of Infrastructure, Networking and Telephony Equipment
- provide knowledge and advice where required within the business
- participating in a 24/7 on call rota
- maintain documentation in line with company processes
- communicate with customers as part of projects and 3rd Line escalations
- this role will also successfully demonstrate the skills required to secure and manage network infrastructures to protect productivity, mitigate threats, and reduce costs
- to participate in internal or external patching out of hours
- participate in the administration and maintenance of the remote monitoring and management system, which includes responding to alerts, monitoring dashboards, and conducting periodic system reviews
Requirements
- basic Knowledge of Microsoft Operating Systems/Firewalls/Routing and Switching
- 4G Router experience
- juniper JNCIA, Cisco CCNA or equivalent
