- full-time | Permanent
Responsibility
- create new designs and artworks following design briefs and respecting the requirement for different print and digital formats
- take projects from initial layout through proof checking and approval and final pre-press process, under supervision
- checking if artworks are accurate and spell checked before publishing under supervision of the Head of Design
- explaining the rationale behind designs to the head of design and clients
- maintaining clean workspace and supporting senior staff and management in their everyday duties
- designing Marketing Materials for the company marketing team and preparing social media content for publication
Requirements
- understanding the pre-press process and implementing artworking techniques to prepare designs for printing
- image editing, including optimisation, colour correction, isolating, resizing and retouching
- typesetting/layout skills
- creative design capabilities
- ability to follow brand guidelines
- careful and methodical, with good attention to detail
- graphic design: 2 years
- enthusiastic attitude and approach to work
