Responsibility

  • ensuring that all legal and regulatory requirements for example, financial reporting, tax, VAT, payroll etc. are strictly adhered to
  • ownership of timely financial and commercial reporting that gives an accurate measure of performance, providing insight into underlying drivers
  • playing a key role in the leadership of Sigma 3, supporting the CEO in creating and implementing the strategic and cultural direction
  • preparing and presenting appropriate financial information and insight on historical and forecast performance at monthly management and quarterly Board Meetings
  • leadership and motivation of a small finance team, ensuring that resource and skills are in place to support the business through periods of change and growth
  • ensuring the efficient and accurate operation of the finance function, implementing robust financial controls and processes to enable the integrity of underlying financial data
  • partnering with departments across the business to interrogate and understand financial performance, creating action plans to improve further
  • developing professional and value adding 3rd party relationships e.g. banking, auditors, legal

Requirements

  • commercially minded, able to connect the numbers to the commercial and operational sides of the business
  • very strong data and analytical skills, able to offer insight as well as analysis
  • possesses a strong understanding of systems and technology, being able to recognise opportunities to streamline the organisation through automation
  • experience of a manufacturing organisation including cost accounting and operational variance analysis
  • A great communicator, equally comfortable in challenging the status quo in the boardroom or on the shop floor
  • able to influence across the business to win the hearts and minds of our people through periods of change
  • A leader who will inspire and motivate their team, whilst supporting them and the business by being hands-on when required
  • solid technical accounting background with an ACA, ACCA, or CIMA qualification

production operative

Responsibility

  • provides manufacturing support to the Production Manager across a range of activities and skills
  • high skill levels, the ability to learn and the ability to produce work to the highest level
  • the ability to work flexibly and to be available at peak times when the workload demands it
  • reliable, punctual with a proven attendance record
  • work in a team producing work of the highest quality
  • working a variety of machinery including CNC machinery – training will be given
  • achieve hourly, daily and weekly targets with minimum failures
  • quality – understanding what quality standards are and ensure that they are achieved

Responsibility

  • effectively engaging with consumers and trade professionals.to achieve targeted sales figures
  • drive recommendation business from your existing client base
  • ensure service levels meet the company’s requirements
  • seek out new business opportunities and proactively find areas of future business growth
  • design to the customers brief and sell kitchens and bedrooms to the complete satisfaction of our customers
  • to become competent in the various IT systems we operate with on the Design side of the Business
  • to encourage and develop a high conversion of real kitchens for use by the marketing team
  • to meet or exceed target conversion rates

Requirements

  • design and Sales Experience: Previous kitchen industry experience, is highly desirable
  • customer-Facing Industry Expertise: Strong commercial acumen with experience working in a customer-facing environment, ideally in retail or home improvement sectors
  • CAD Design Experience: Familiarity with CAD software is advantageous, although training will be provided
  • problem-Solving Skills: Proven ability to identify and resolve issues swiftly and efficiently, ensuring smooth project delivery
