Responsibility

  • the work will involve working unsociable hours, participation in implementing care plans and attendance at review meetings
  • experience and knowledge of working with individuals with ASD is essential for this post
  • to work as a member of a team and also able to work on own initiative providing a high quality of supportive services to people with a learning disability living in their own homes
  • the work will comprise a mixture of tasks ranging from personal care, practical and emotional support, household/domestic duties through to assisting clients with daily tasks such as shopping, medication, recreational/vocational interests and use of community facilities
  • to ensure all company’s care practices and procedures are adhered to at all times
  • to ensure health and safety procedures are complied with at all times
