Requirements
- SVQ/NVQ level 3 Electrical Qualification
- experience with PLC's, 3 phase motor drives, and SCADA systems
- BTEC or City and Guild trained / apprenticeship or equivalent
- 17th/18th Edition
- experience in production, manufacturing, maintenance or servicing environments
- higher education in electrical or mechanical engineering fields to HNC or HND level desirable
- proficient computer skills
- proven training for hands on, mechanical/electrical servicing/diagnosis
Responsibility
- ensuring all maintenance jobs are carried out safely, observing site rules and required risk assessments
- sibelco Green Solution UK Ltd is seeking to recruit a suitable candidate to take on exciting and challenging tasks within an expansive and dynamic manufacturing environment
- carrying out scheduled planned maintenance tasks to maximise plant efficiency and minimise downtime
- the glass processing plant runs 24/7 and the successful candidate will be required to participate in a dayshift, with rotating on call pattern
- carrying out fault diagnosis to identify problems with plant as they arise and action the solution
- ensuring systems are kept up to date and faults are entered into the maintenance management system
- ensuring accurate reporting of maintenance, equipment status, parts/consumables used and fault reports
- using expertise and training to support the resolution of process issues as they arise
