Responsibility

  • you will be involved with the building, assembly and installation of bespoke machinery
  • read and interpret schematics, blueprints, and technical drawings
  • rig and assemble components according to specifications
  • to be able to fault find, test and rectify mechanical issues
  • we are seeking to build our team and are looking to recruit a Mechanical Fitter to be part of our team. This is a unique opportunity to become part of a small, rapidly expanding, successful company

Requirements

  • must have experience of working in a machine building role or something similar
  • qualification in mechanical engineering
  • strong mechanical aptitude and ability to work with precision
  • proficient in reading and understanding technical drawings and schematics
  • experience with TIG welding / metal work / plumbing & pneumatics would be advantageous
  • have a keen eye for detail and be able to represent the company to a high standard
  • proficiency in using hand and power tools for fabrication and assembly
  • be a self-motivated individual who wants to progress
