  • assist the Engineering Team with all aspects of planned and reactive maintenance whilst following the Port’s Health & Safety policies
  • diving Operations; quay wall surveys, lock inspections, vessel inspections, airlifting - debris removal

  • plumbing; fixing leaks, installing taps and sanitary ware

  • draft tender packages and carry out tender assessments ensuring that the project brief can be fulfilled within requirements

Requirements

  • autoCAD or other drawing skills would be a distinct advantage both for new and existing projects and assets
  • preferably degree educated or similar in Civil Engineering, a construction related discipline, or other Engineering disciplines with experience of suitably sized projects
  • you’ll ideally have a working knowledge of, or experience of administering Engineering & Construction Contracts or other standard forms of contract, with anything in a maritime setting being a bonus
  • with such a wide range of internal and external stakeholders to work with you will need strong leadership and influencing skills to bring them along with the journey through the project lifecycle
  • the ability to engage and clearly communicate at all levels and easily able to switch communication style to match a range of audiences will be essential for successful project outcomes
