Responsibility
- provide high-quality hair cutting, colouring, and styling services tailored to each client's needs
- maintain a clean and organised work area to ensure a welcoming environment for clients
- engage with clients to understand their preferences and offer professional advice on hair care and styling
- upsell additional services and products to enhance the client experience and increase salon revenue
- assist with front desk duties, including scheduling appointments and managing client inquiries
- mentor junior stylists or apprentices, sharing knowledge and techniques to foster their development
- stay updated on the latest trends in hairstyling, makeup application, and eyelash extensions to provide clients with contemporary options
Requirements
- proven experience as a Hair Stylist or in a similar role within the beauty industry
- strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with clients
- experience in store management is advantageous but not essential
- knowledge of barbering techniques is a plus
- familiarity with makeup application techniques is desirable
- ability to upsell services and products confidently
- previous mentoring experience is beneficial for guiding less experienced staff
