SHERPA ENVIRONMENTAL is looking for employees for positions:

Working hours

  • full-time | Permanent

Responsibility

  • undertaking reactive legionella remedial and general plumbing works covering hot and cold supply units, pipework, and associated equipment
  • cleaning and chlorination on both hot and cold water systems including storage tanks, calorifiers, TMVs, showers, outlets, pipework, valves etc
  • carry out water hygiene monitoring, inspection, and servicing in accordance with HSG274, DWI, Water Regulations, and relevant British Standards
  • conduct microbiological sampling and resampling procedures
  • install, maintain, and test biocide dosing units
  • carrying out sampling, dosing, flushing and analysis on closed water systems

Requirements

  • plumbing qualifications NVQ Level 2 or City & Guilds equivalent
  • extensive experience and skills in carrying out water hygiene duties in accordance with technical guidelines
  • minimum of two years of experience in a similar or previous role within the industry
  • full UK driving licence
  • exceptional communication
  • the ability to work on your own initiative and as a team
  • attention to detail
  • ideally experience and skills in carrying out closed system water treatment in line with technical guidelines . Training will be provided where necessary
