plumber
Working hours
- full-time | Permanent
Responsibility
- undertaking reactive legionella remedial and general plumbing works covering hot and cold supply units, pipework, and associated equipment
- cleaning and chlorination on both hot and cold water systems including storage tanks, calorifiers, TMVs, showers, outlets, pipework, valves etc
- carry out water hygiene monitoring, inspection, and servicing in accordance with HSG274, DWI, Water Regulations, and relevant British Standards
- conduct microbiological sampling and resampling procedures
- install, maintain, and test biocide dosing units
- carrying out sampling, dosing, flushing and analysis on closed water systems
Requirements
- plumbing qualifications NVQ Level 2 or City & Guilds equivalent
- extensive experience and skills in carrying out water hygiene duties in accordance with technical guidelines
- minimum of two years of experience in a similar or previous role within the industry
- full UK driving licence
- exceptional communication
- the ability to work on your own initiative and as a team
- attention to detail
- ideally experience and skills in carrying out closed system water treatment in line with technical guidelines . Training will be provided where necessary
