sharpak Aylesham is a well established manufacturing company based in the South East of England
the ideal candidate will have a sound understanding of engineering fundamentals, both electrical and mechanical
to support an exciting period of growth as part of our 5 year plan, we are looking for a Multi-skilled Engineer to complient our Engineering Maintenance team for the site
A key focus of the role is to attain minimal breakdowns through the development and implementation of more long-term reliable solutions through root cause analysis
the role will support various upgrade/improvement projects to optimise our equipment utilisation and efficiency targets and is required to be fully autonomous and proactive to help ensure the Engineering Department supports future business growth
Requirements
ability to demonstrate actual workplace experience in applying Engineering knowledge and skills to perform root cause analysis
knowledge of CAD or similar software
demonstrable experience of analysing data and making recommendations where necessary
undertake planned maintenance tasks autonomously to maximise machinery up time and minimise disruption to production targets
ability to work autonomously to a high standard, either alone or as part of a wider team
self-motivated with a commitment to personal development
assist the Engineering Manager with creating and reviewing risk assessments, SOPs, OPLs, and Preventative Maintenance Schedules
undertake proactive and effective fault diagnosis utilising both mechanical and electrical root cause analysis to establish problems and determine solutions
