Responsibility

  • purpose
  • to support the Day Centre Manager in the supervision and leadership of Support Workers and Play worker Assistants
  • to work as a member of the team with a shared responsibility to shape and deliver high quality provision that meets the needs of the young people, to be an advocate for their wellbeing and learning
  • active participation and positive role modelling within staff meetings
  • accountable and take responsibility for managing incidents in line with policies and procedures in the absence of the Day Centre Manager
  • undertake a variety of housekeeping duties to maintain a clean and safe environment, promptly reporting any repair and maintenance issues
  • participate in the performance and development review process, taking personal responsibility for identification of learning, development and training opportunities in discussion with line manager
