Responsibility
- assign raw tube stock to customer build boxes according to frame drawings
- fully welded bicycle frames & forks
- workshop tools
- fettling of tubing joints to ensure tight tolerances are met
- fabrication area consumables
- braze on additional frame parts-bridges, bosses etc to welded frames
- updating customer order book as frames progress
- carry out final quality control on finished frames to ensure it meets standards
Requirements
- basic knowledge of bicycle frame construction
- experienced using oxy-acetylene brazing equipment to produce a high standard of work
- A strong technical aptitude and proficiency with machine/hand tools
- health & safety awareness in a workshop environment
- ability to read and understand technical drawings and have a high attention to detail
- friendly and approachable
