Responsibility
- monitoring and auditing activities of any Contractors with respect to health and safety performance
- coordinating adverse event investigations
- carrying out routine Site Health & Safety audits to comply with the local site and wider regional requirements
- coordinating with HR to organise H&S training
- supporting and advising occupational health aspects as required to ensure the health of our employees
- coordinating the generation of risk assessments/Standard Operating Procedures and help develop the safe system of work for the mine, process plant and surface operations
- maintaining high standards of environmental performance in compliance with operational requirements
- taking reasonable care for the health and safety of hersel imself and that of other persons who may be affected by her/his acts or omissions
Requirements
- health & safety related degree or similar or minimum recognised professional qualification in health and safety
- valid UK driving license
