Responsibility
- safely and efficiently load and unload delivery vehicles
- transport goods from warehouses to designated locations
- follow delivery schedules and routes provided by the company
- operate delivery vehicles, including vans, trucks, forklifts, and tractor-trailers
- use manual transmission vehicles as required
- ensure proper handling and securing of goods during transportation
- maintain accurate records of deliveries, including receipts and signatures
- provide exceptional customer service during deliveries
Requirements
- valid driver's license with a clean driving record
- previous experience as a delivery driver or in a similar role preferred
- ability to operate various types of delivery vehicles, including forklifts and pallet jacks
- familiarity with warehouse operations and procedures
- strong time management skills to meet delivery schedules
- excellent communication and customer service skills
- ability to handle physical demands of the job, including lifting heavy objects
- delivery driver experience: 1 year
