Responsibility
- SGA Technologies has been designing and manufacturing high quality hermetic components and offering specialist plating services in the UK since 1969
- we have around 85 employees and are continuing to grow each year
- our engineers are key members of the production team, having expertise in hermetic sealing and plating technology
- due to a recent opening in our engineering team, we now wish to appoint a graduate engineer
- this is an excellent opportunity for an individual early in their career to make a difference in a wide-ranging engineering role

- ● Producing, updating, and maintaining technical data including, technical reports, change notifications, specification documents and test procedures

Requirements
- good analytical thinking, troubleshooting and problem-solving skills, coupled with the drive to learn
- good communications skills, both verbal and written
- solid knowledge of material properties
- experience with Cad with the ability to interpret technical drawings and tolerancing
- strong aptitude for hands -on engineering
- obtained, or be predicted to obtain, minimum 2.2 in a bachelor’s or master’s degree in mechanical engineering, Material Science or Manufacturing engineering
- passionate about solving complex technical problems and learn on the job
- self-motivated with the ability to work independently with limited supervision, but also the ability to work well in a team and recognise the requirements for seeking help and or guidance
